box n engine seperation

Vn aero mock
just bit stumped taken all the bolts out wires and hoses but the box wont budge do i need to seperate the flexplate and torque converter?

first off double check all the bolts i always forget one lol

and the best way to do it is to unbolt the convertor from the flexplate, then the box only needs to go back an inch and will drop straight down

do i need to mark the flexplate or the torque converter or anything like that

You need to undo THREE bolts that join the FLEX PLATE to the TORQUE CONVERTER. They will face the engine. Undo them with a large breaker bar, and use a breaker bar on the crank pulley bolt against the chasis rail to stop the motor turning. Alternatively, jab a cold chisel in against the side of the block through the flex plate to stop it turning.

Once the torque converter and the flex plate are separated, you can slide the trans back, and lower it down.
