I've found this to be an issue for my calipers, I grabbed 4 new nipples on the way home one day, I didn't have a sample at the time.
Ended up swapping one Into the front caliper which worked well, but when I tried the rear caliper it wouldn't seal because the rear caliper nipples were longer.
I called into the Brake shop where I got these new nipples from, mentioned how there was this difference and the guy said they should work. How they get a place to make them a heap of them...
I hope they have longer ones if I give them a sample.

Cheers

Well, I always thought the front ones were slightly longer than the rears, but looking at the old ones (that I kept), they do seem to be the same size.
