I'm curious, I've seen cappliers that are red, do you have to buy new ones to get that colour or can you just paint them yourself? the new rims I have show them more than the old and the silver looks a little dull. any suggestions on colour would be great too. Thanks.

you can get spray can to paint your calipers but make sure its a heat resistant paint or it will peel right off.

and i reckon red makes your car go faster!

The Best way to get your brake callipers really looking good, get them sand blasted first then paint them. :)

PBR does now do painted calipers, mostly sold in kits for brake upgrades for earlier models etc. it would be cheaper to paint em yourself. VHT do a range of different colours for calipers. make sure you clean and degrease before painting.

I am interested in this - what's the procedure to undo the brake calipers? Do you need to bleed the brake lines?
