If I remember correctly our CV8Z (sold Now) had twin pistons on the front but they were one either side so the last SS say 2015, 2016, 2017 SS had twin pistons but were on the Inner side only. I don't remember whats on our 2015 SV6 although looking and feeling with my fingers between the Redline Mags I can feel two humps on my fingers but again I could be wrong.

I will have a better look next time I take the wheel off.

Yeah I heard brake pads need to be engineered as well these days if you change compound from OEM spec.
Next thing will be wiper blades as they're a safety feature.
Where will it end?

..... (bureaucracy inhibiting our modding)... where will it end?
Considering Waymo is looking at running their own fleet of self driving cars that you may be able to call up using an app on your phone, GM and I think others are looking at doing the same... Presumably at some point after mass rollout of such fleets, private vehicle ownership along with vehicle modding will go the way of the dodo...

But I guess we’re getting way off topic when the point of the thread was feedback about brake pad compounds...

They seem to be your cross-reference pads, to the DB1925.

Have you ever tried Remsa? Good Euro-spec. Dusty, but has high-heat resistance & resistance to fading, and kind to rotors.

+1 for Remsa If you don't mind washing your wheels

Very helpful table. Seems like Brakes Direct Stock Remsa
