Hey guys, just about to sell the car. Finished servicing it. I replaced the front brake pads. The rotors probably should of been done but trying to do it all cheaply. Now there is this scraping noise when braking. Is this just the noise of good pads scraping on bad rotors? The rotors weren’t terrible and were not making a noise on the old pads. I also rotated the wheels aswell. Or is the noise just improper installation. I did every thing right and lubed everything. I was only thinking it could be the retainer clips. The noise sounds like it’s both front wheels. Slight noise when driving but 10x louder when braking.

this is the noise

Thanks abba. I’ll double check.
Yep I washed the car when I bought it. Thought I’d got rid of the spider. Couple days later webs are back. Wash again. Same again. I figure it’s just meant to be he has until Sunday when I sell it to vacate my wing mirror.
