I'm looking at prices for new carpet for my VR SS... I found a moulded super plush pile carpet, in any colour I want... for $180 + $25 postage. What do you guys think of the price?

or there's another mob that does loop pile carpet for $140 + $25 postage?

Would I be better off getting loop pile carpet instead of something super plush if it's going to be my daily driver?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :-D

VZ GTO. VS LS1.
I think that price seems ok. I recently paid $220 including postage for black plush pile for my vs. Personally I would go with the plush pile rather than the loop pile, it feels a bit nicer and the loop pile can unstitch/fray a bit easier. Also remember that your new moulded carpet will not come with any underlay, so just remove it from your current carpet and lay it down on the floor first.

Loop pile can be a mongrel to keep clean as the bits of grass etc get caught in the pile and resist vacuuming.

As Calaber said, loop pile is a bitch to keep clean. You just keep going over and over the same bit with the vacuem and whatever was there stays there!! Super Plush is real nice. Just make sure your not ordering one of those 2 piece jobs..unless thats what your after of course:thumbsup:

2 piece is suppose to be ALOT easier to fit. I've heard of alot of people having trouble fitting the one piece ones themselves, and a certain company who make carpets that TRUEly FIT dont have a very good name for quality or being the best fit.
