all brakes on commodores up untill the VT sucked. they are ok for one BIG stop but if you abuse them again and again and again they will fade quickly no matter how good the pads/fluid etc. the VT upgrade is definitly a good start. apparently, according to a holden mechanic as posted in another thread on the same topic said the spacers aren't required. don't quote me on that however. another question is possibly using the VT hubs as well, again it's an unknown answer as well but i'm sure many people would be interested in that little bit of info also. you will need new brake hoses though to fit the twin spot calipers. also upgrading to a 1" master is recommended. this should be a direct bolt on from the equevalent V8 model
