Brembo v HSV

So it’s time to get a brake upgrade for my ve commodore

Just want to know what’s the difference with the brembo brake upgrade and the hsv upgrade?

I’m tempted to get the hsv upgrade .. can anyone give me a reason why I shouldn’t get the hsv and go with brembo?

Gday, i put the AP Racing 4pots (HSV brakes from VE) on my vf ss to go racing and they were exceptional. I also owned a vf redline with the brembos, which were also excellent. I have a feeling getting pads for the brembos might end up being easier.. but i was getting good success through brakes direct for motorsport pads for both cars.

The "HSV" are AP Racing calipers. and yeah.

Do u think the ap racing brake pads will be harder to get because of all the Holden closing ?

Should be a standard item that most brake places or similar can get in.

Have the HSV Branded AP Racing (6 pot front versions) on the VZ and DBA make the standard 2 piece rotors and pads would be easy to obtain aswell.

Not to mention they (ap racing) are great eye candy and on ve’s bolt straight up using same 12mm bolts that mounted your stock calipers ...later vf brembos use 14mm

And AP are owned by Brembo.
