19" or bigger definately but not sure of offset as I have the ssv redline mags powder coated so they arnt chrome, but I have heard not all 19's will fit, so maybe someone else will clarify it

I know you need at least 18" to clear the standard HSV AP brakes so does that mean the Brembo's are a bigger disc?

Yes is bigger disc, that's why it stops better.
Brembo calipers stick out too much and touch spokes on almost all wheels, not really offset issue but shape of spokes.
There are other big brake upgrades that fit SSV 19" but not for $1k.
A set of Eibach TÜV hubcentric spacers to increase offset by 15mm costs $250 and looks factory race, does the trick for SSV 19".
Unfortunately totally illegal.

the brembos are just a straight bolt on, i think u have to cut a section out of the backing plate to allow for the bigger caliper but other then that good to go. and i think the redline wheels are +48 offset?? but i dont know what the minmum offset that is required

No they don't, if he said ssv redline then they are what they come out on.. Ssv brakes are smaller
