Six and V8 had the same brakes, discs on the front drums on the rear. Disc brakes were an option for the rear.
Are you allowed brake upgrades?

Yes, the brakes must meet with us in engine performance.

I have a front and 296x22mm rear drums with 22.2 mm cylinder.

I need a brochure which says the drums for the V8 engine range.

Darren is correct, I just checked my manual and only 6 cylinder cars had drum rear brakes.
Am I reading your post correctly saying you have front drum brakes? Commodores whether 6 or 8 had front discs.
Are you trying to make an Opel into a Commodore?

No, I'm on the front brake discs, diameter 296 mm.

I have a 5.0 SB Chevy built in an Opel Rekord.

In addition I was able to read a lot of you, because the V8 was standart in Australia.

TUV says if he has papers, he would also enter.
