hey on my VR one side of the bonnet is broken. Like the pole things gone stiff and knocked the screw out so it doesn't stay up by itself anymore. I know this is a hell bad description of the problem but yeah. Anyone know anyways to fix it? coz that would be much appreciated.

I think you mean the bolt assembly which connects the ball end of the strut to the bonnet has come off. This should be held in place by a nut on the inner side. If your bonnet has been panelbeaten the nut may have been loose or damaged causing it to fail. Fixing will depend on whether the hole where the bolt goes is still OK - if so you will need a nut for the inside of the bonnet.
How about posting a pix of the problem as a picture is worth a thousand words.

haha yer but my cam hasn't got any batteries. But i'll try and explain it. U know how the strutbar joins at the bottom? that bolt has come out and the pole doesn't go back into the gas thing(haha i think it's gas) so it's just hell long on one side and then the other side shortens and works fine. So when i close my bonnet i have to close it onto the pole. lol sorry for the **** explanation but it's kind of hard to explain. But yeah any advice would be great especially if it's by tonight because i'm going to try and get it fixed by 2moro morning. Thanks alot.

Check the opposite side to see if they are identical - there is a semi-circular piece of spring steel that holds the strut to the ball - this may have come adrift. If its still there you may be able to slip the strut onto the ball with a bit of wobbling otherwise you will need to somehow clamp the strut to the ball so it stays there. To do this you may need to disconnect the opposite side (by slipping a thin screwdriver under the spring clip thingo....dont lose it!)
Wreckers have them complete for about $15-20 but I'd try and save that by figuring out why it came off. With the cash you save you can buy new batteries!!!!
