So I just went to do an oil change and I went right tightly instead of lefty loosy, been a long day. the housing where my oil fill cap goes is now broken in half.
Anyone know where I would be able to buy suck a thing? Or do I just hit it with some high temp glue?

Yeah, shite happens bu5 I wouldn’t try hot glue or any glue...

Ring Holden and confirm price and availability (you may be surprised with a reasonable price) or

Oh, and these caps are sealed via the o-ring, not by being really really tight... Don’t know the torque specs but probably hand tight when cold.

PS: torque is 25Nm as is cast into some filter housing tops, along with which direction to turn to tighten the cap... 25NM isn’t much...

I’d get one from the wreckers. The part itself is either broken or not broken. So give it a good clean and get some new seals for it instead.
