Hi everyone,
I just snapped the threaded plastic section of my throttle cable while making an adjustment. I've ordered a replacement part. What's involved in fitting it? Anything to watch out for?

Its a bit of mucking around at the pedal if you have under dash covers if not it is quite easy. The bung in the fire wall is attached to the cable and just pulls out. You pull from the engine side, IIRC. I have pulled a few now and replaced one. Mine was stripped on the ute. VP use the same cable as VR.

On that note, is there any difference in casing length or free play length between buick vs Eco vs 304?

@EYY would know the answer to that. He has dealt with all of the above engines a fair bit.
