Vr commodore manual
Hey all, I have a free vy ute that is only good for the track, I have a fresh buick sitting in my shed with a full turbo kit, from what I heard a vs eco k frame fits a buick, so will it be as easy as slapping the buick on a vy k frame/swap mounts to from vy eco onto the buick? The t5 will be fabricated and all that to fit, keen to hear ur answers!

ecotec and Buick V6 share the same engine mounts and bellhousing bolt pattern.

Yeah this i know but the k frame may vary
The K-frames between the VN-VS and VT-VY are different widths because of the different chassis, but the engine bolts into the K-frame exactly the same VN-VY.

Well yeah, but there isn’t any difference in how the motor bolts up.
Back in the day, everyone wanted to put Ecotecs into VN and VP’s and they went straight in. So should also be the same the other way around.
