G'day,
My car is blowing a puff of blue smoke on startup.
I am of the understanding that this is the valve stem seals.
Question 1.
What is the benefit if any of using and installing brass or metal valve stem seals.
Question 2.
Is it a hard procedure?
Question 3.
Is there anything else maintenance wise that I could do while I have the valve cover, rockers and seals out?
Maybe a clean.
Also maybe someone could do a howto.
As this appears to be a common problem.
