VE MY 9.5 Phantom Black Ute Series 1 Had it for a few months now, nothing too exciting. Just had a fantastic experience with a timing chain at 65,000 k's. (When it should last anywhere up to 100,000k's +!) $2500 later it's replaced and running awesome, Couple of budget P plate special mods, - deleted rear mufflers, replaced with straight pipes - Deleted taillights and replaced with fully sick led lights - Deleted front lights and replaced with the SSV projector type lights and a 6000k HID kit. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/ 14/01/21/sypa2azy.jpg -Added a sub behind the drivers seat. - Has a big shiny strut brace -Future- OTR is on it's way and should be here in early FEB The coil over vs lowered springs debate still rages on... Haven't decided yet. And a nice set of G8's if I can get the money together, And a lid, which Is priority one, to hide the tools of corse. Bout it I think. Matt
Yea I know, got them for $50, and havnt gone and got tips put on it yet, Purely laziness I guess, There is a drone at 2000+\- 100rpm. But it's not too bad. Matt
It's not that bad really. But I'm still keen on a full exhaust. Once I find 2.5" tips to weld on then it will look fine. Matt
should give that engine bay a detail mate, looks so grubby the whole ute should come up nice with a good bath, nice ute mate  next on your mod list should be hardlid (lockable) and some rims with dish
Yea I'm looking at the hardlid from esp (I think) which is central locking. So no locks to break or rust out. And yea some nice staggered wheels would go mint. Just a matter of the $$$$$ haha Matt
Swerved to avoid some dick head that was driving in the middle of the road around a blind corner in the wet, Lucky I didn't get hurt, The tree stopped the car. Haha Matt
Hard look's to still be in good nick. (must have been a small tree) Be sure to post up pics of the repair, I hope it turns out Tip-Top for you
Yea it should be about another 2 weeks, It turns out it didn't Hurt the lid, But it did hurt the panel the lid hinges mount too, So the panel beater is fixing that as well for me, Can't wait to get it back, Iv been driving one of the **** old ford Capri (convertible). And it's got a coolant leak, so it's servo to servo.,,,, Very frustrating! Matt
was going to ask about the drone of the straight pipes but all answered? SOund alirght with straight pipes? Looks the good mate.
It's not too bad, But it could be worse. I'm looking at making a 2nd pipe to eliminate the drone. I'm not sure how a video would go sound quality wise. Matt
