found a bit of rust inside the fuel filler area which I have just treated and painted

new tank is a big improvement on the old one

motor fires right up now - hard to tell if it's any good as there is no exhaust on it, a mechanic mate of mine is coming over to have a listen to it tomorrow , can't run it for long as the radiator is missing something - a drain valve ? on the bottom passenger side so I can't put water in it.

Yeah, there’s a drain plug there.

Finally got started on this , been working overseas a lot lately and never got the chance to advertise the old motor and box but I got it done a couple of weeks ago and it’s sold so out it comes. Now to try and sell the rest of the bits I dont need , K frame, rack, doors, seats, dash , pedals , tailshaft , etc.

Doors, seats, guards, bonnet, half the dash all sold , I am now $800 in front on the ute
