Well, Fun day so far....

Someone decided to pull out infront of me and BAM, only a little time to put my foot on the brake.

Hasent been assesed yet, but looks like it will be a repair job. (****!!!)

I'm Hoping for a write off...

Air Bag didnt go off! Kinda annoyed at that.
And my little camera was damanged aswell.. trying to get a viedeo recording of the accident off now.

Sorry about the smash and I'm glad nobody was hurt, as an experienced smash repairer I would say that you hit him at about 30-40km/h, I say this because if you were driving 30km/h and aimed your drivers side headlamp directly at a wooden street pole I gaurantee the ve will be classified as a write off, but please people do not try this to write off your cars as it can cause serious injury and even death, though you all might think 30k's is to slow to cause a write off, but statistics say that even a car travelling at 100km/h usually brakes roughly 4 meters from impact which dramatically reduces your speed on impact.

^^ I dont think you get it - a write-off is good, it means you get a new car

definitely not a write off. once roof is crumpled though, then that's when things get very expensive because chances are the subframe is bent too.
but least all the damage is up front. side damage normally results in doors that dont close properly and wind noise as time goes on.
interested to see video (if possible).
