I picked up my VF international Sportwagen today.

I was driving along the Ipswich motorway, flicked on the cruise control and then repositioned my right leg. As I did this my knee bumped the key and the car died. All the gauges went to off, the DIC went blank, the engine died. I had no indicators or anything. The only thing I could do was glide to a stop on the side of the road. I turned the car off and restarted it and it was all good again.

I had only covered 15km in the car and this happened. Has it happened to anyone else?

Did you actually knock the key out of the ignition position?

Can't say if I did or not but it would have been a strange sort of contact to twist the key from on to accessories though?
