Hey Guys and Girls,

Ok, first post ever, so let me know if I aint got it right..

Currently I'm having some dramas with my VE SS.

One quick trip down to the bank and about halfway there, the LCD screen above the radio starts to flash "BURN IN MODE" ??

Now this started flashing about 3 days ago, first it was intermittent, now it seems to be constant.

Thismorning it actually didnt even come up on the screen. Nothing at all, it stays black? :cry:

Can anyone shed some light on this situation?

Maybe "Burn Out Mode", as in time to start lighting them up :) ?

yeah I know completely useless to your question, but that's the first thing that came to my mind.

Still in warranty?

Have you had teh BCM software upgraded at the service? It seems to happen on some cars after the software update from Holden.

Hahaha "BURN OUT MODE" sounds much better but no I didnt manage to find the secret extra KW button

Yeah I called up today hopefully their 'diamond warranty' lives up to the name... :help:

Well it has been for its 60K service so I hope the dealership monkeys did it at the same time? This was only about 1.5 months ago, was it available then?

ok no help so far from anyone, dealer has finally gotten back to me after waiting a week, still doesnt know, going in to be diagnosed tomorrow!

Any luck fixing your issue? I have the same issue, car is booked on Friday.

Lets see how much holden rips me off.

haha sorry forgot to follow up on this, got diagnosed, supposively bad power related issue to the headunit, the whole headunit got replaced under warranty with a brand new one! So worked out well for me at the end of the day!
