I use cheap Sony CD-R's bought from the supermarket (25 spindle). Nero burns them at 8X. They work just fine.

I have tried everything and my Blaupunkt still won't play my burnt CD's. It plays the ones I burnt ages ago, but the new ones I'm burning don't get recognised. So frustrating

if you have windows media player make sure the rip settings format is mp3 and the quality is at 192kbps
the music will go to a folder and then add a blank cd-r in the rom drive and use nero to burn the cd..

I use media player and the burn process works fine in there as well...

If your downloading music from the net you might need to convert them to mp3 file format.. music videos wont work with video
unless you convert to Xvid format or dvd format.. but you will get the sound only
