Buying a new starter motor for my ss

Hey guys so my utes starter motor has gone to ****. I gave it the love taps and it worked then It went dead again give it a few more hits came good now it’s dead again and she won’t kick over anyways! I’m just curious will a ve start motor fit the vy ss Ute ? And would they be any better?

I've fitted 5 or so of the cheap aftermarket ones with 5 years warranty and haven't had an issue. Both on LS1's and 5L's
