depending on the condition / kms
u could prob get 1 for 4k lol dont think it be that good but
id expect to pay anywere from 4-9k for a nice VS SS with lowish kms
and in good condition..
as for the 304 using fuel depends how heavy ur right foot is . if u drive it like u stole it then ull get a massive 250-300kms from 70litres.
if u drive it with some respect and a here and there boot ull easily get 350-400 kms a tank ;).
on the other hand a 304 can get anywere between 8-12Litres per 100 on the free way

Agreed.mines a 5 speed, and uses less fuel than my 202 auto hz ute, with a stocko stromberg carb. But when i start sinking the boot in fuel consumption rises quite rapidly....

VS COMMODORE SS
bought my vs ss a few months back, trannie was screwed (which i knew about) so required a rebuild. Take into mind that they are almost 15 year old cars, so good chance things can go wrong.
Fuel consumption wise, driving it like Miss Daisy (mainly freeway) gets me 430kms, but around city with a few hoon bursts here and there would get me 350kms. Well worth it though :)
