buying from overseas

Has anyone bought electronic products from sites like amazon and had them shipped to Australia? Curious to hear if there have been any problems or if there are any customs fees or anything else that need to be paid as well.

just beware of the wait or getting your product...ive waited upto 8 weeks waiting to receive something from the states, now i wont usually buy something unless they offer fedex which i always receive within a week which is amazing, but as custom fees etc, ive never had a problem with
