Hi,

As you can probably gather from the title, my auto power down on my BCM (mid 210) has **** itself, so i am either forced to tap the down window switch 50 times to lower the window, or hold the switch until the auto window timer times out and begins working, each time.

What i want to do is simply bypass this function either via cutting/joining wires or simply destroying the part of the BCM that controls the auto power down function entirely.

Does anyone know of how to do this?

Appreciate the help

not something that can simply be done at the switch. but can be done if you go searching for the wires. you should only have to run one wire from one side of the switch to the motor... and disconnect a couple of wires.

alternatively taking a second look, disconnect pins 25 and 26 from the BCM and join them together.

if you cannot follow the diagram below you probably shouldn't attempt it.

See below...

you would have to break the wires at the red lines I have drawn.

then join the two wires where I have used a black line.

(note, that is just the left had side window, you would need to do the same for the right hand side)

Nope, that makes perfect sense.

I will attempt this over Easter, much appreciated!
