Got new rear tyres fitted on my 07 SV6 last Saturday same size as the original.
Ever since i have been having issues with the stability control coming on going around certain corners, i dont even need to be going that quick for it to engage starting to get really annoying.
My local mechanic had a look for error codes cause thats what the tyre shop recommended and it came up with (C0899 power Supply Circuit Low Voltage) He cleared the code and it doesn't seem to come on as easy but still does.
booked in on Tuesday for holden to have a look at, was just wondering if anybody has had an issue similar to this or knows if the code could be causing this?
Thanks

Keen to know more about this, as my old mans VE does it occaisionally and once got a low voltage alert on the dash also.. Could be related?

Maybe the battery voltage is low, there for setting of random error's?

this is from the techline regarding DTC C0899.
It is UPDATED by a later calibration release which
includes further revisions to the EBCM software for DTC
C0899 setting during cranking.

basically tells the abs module to ignore the low voltage code while cranking

Thanks Boonz thats good.
do you recon that code would be causing the stability control to be over sensitive?

theres a few other techlines regarding rear wheel speed sensor harnesses being too short and causing problems when cornering.
might be worth checking to see wether your car has had the new parts fitted or not
