Cabin air filter mod

Currently prototyping a mod for the cabin air-intake. The filter I am using is RCA246M. I think its for a Mazda2. Space is a little limited so I am playing around and seeing what I can fit on-top of the stock intake. It may need a screw or two to fix into place.

Would be good to fabricate a simple wire mesh cover like on VT-VZ to prevent debris from accumulating in the filter

Yeah, I'll probably do that in version 2. It's a little tight towards the front, I have some aluminium fly screen that I'll add a grove for. Might chuck some completed ones up on ebay. Atleast then I can fit them first. It's about 12hours a print for all 4 parts

I think that is the first time this product has been posted here. That’s excellent. Thanks for sharing that.

Your style design would allow a paper pollen filter to fit in though.
