Going by the owners manual it may make slightly less power and get slightly worse economy but will be fine.

It won’t hurt it; however, see how it goes. Our Ecomoo VS ran better enough on 95 that it felt like something was wrong on 91 ... and hence I only put 98 (it gets filled about once a month) in the VF.

Run my l77 6ltr on 91 all the time and never notice any difference if i put 98 in.
Its a daily driver though not driven like a race car.

same, 98 mileage is about 0.1-2 better than 91/e10 (on the dash anyway which is not exact).

Standard motor. I put 95 too. As Milo 6.0 mentioned, owner manual mentions it'll have slightly less power running 91.

I wouldn't put 91 in it.

I filled up this morning. United E85 $1.42 compared to $1.47 for E10. 105 octane too! More power, less emissions, made in Oz from renewable resources! Suitable for L77 as they have a flex-fuel sensor.

Hi Geoff, I've always been under the impression that E85 burns faster, so more l/100 km.
But I could well be wrong, so would be interested to hear what you experience.
BTW - was the E85 at Dee Why United?

This is correct, it has less energy in it so you have to burn more to get the same power. It's usually 20%-30% more or thereabouts, although if you've got a good tune on E85 vs a crap tune on 98 then your E85 results may look rosier by comparison (but then - this would be fixed with a better tune on 98! :)).

There's also the fact that if I were to use exclusively E85, I'd be spending an extra 50km each fill-up finding a servo with E85. :)

Indeed, along with today's price of 189.9 at the handful of United stations in Perth that sell it, they can keep it.
