    hi

when installing a calais dash into a 96 vs executive

    1. what wires on the 4th plug do you need to hook up if you just want the bit that shows how far the caras been and light up when the rest of the dash lights up at night when the tail lights are on.

    2. how much modification needs to be done to the wiring in a vs exec to fit a l3 dash

    3. is the plug already hidden in a 96 vs exec

The 'Tripin" thread is a great read on this.

Just add the L3 plugs to the Exec loom

No - the 4th plug wont be hidden.

what wires do you add id you only want the digital speedo counter

will a vr calais cluster work in a vs

how would you add the plug that goes where the speed alert used to be and connect the wires already there

Orange white and black white wires as per the wire diagram will show the ODO.

VR will work OK in VS - but your seat belt warning will be an air bag worning

The speed alert is differnt wires and cant be used for the trip switch block add the to the loom by running extra long wires to the 4th plug and main dash loom by the drivers side (if your not removing the loom)

so with the speed alert do you cut the plug off and join the wires to the leftover wires on the plug for the trip computer switch block in the vvr/vs
