Calais door trim question

The driver's side front door trim on my vr calais is a bit rough, the vinyl is cracked where too many elbows have sat and there is a small bit missing behind where the door lock receptacle sits at the top.

As calais stuff appears to be hard to get, is it possible to modify a lower level trim to suit? Has anyone done it?

I suppose the key would be finding one with no window winder hole.

Can the material section be added?
