The Super6's are nice to drive, love the quiet get up and go.
I enjoy taking mine out for a drive now and then.
I drove a friends 2002 VX Calais Super6 some time ago, and that was Dual Fuel and drove great on Gas and Petrol,

I find mine is fairly fuel efficient, keeping in mind its all stock.
13 L/100k suburban
approx. 9.6 on trips, especially up and down the hume highway.

I did find 2 items with mine,
  1. has a hesitation when its cold, but when its warmed up a bit, it accelerates nicely.
  2. sometimes doesn't return to idle (approx 750 rpm) sometimes, replace the IAC and TPS with new ones, and then tried also S/hand ones, but seems to have settled down now.

I replaced the IAC valve today as I had rough idle when cold. I tried to clean the old one a couple of months ago , but that didnt work. Seems much better now.

I recently bought a vt calais l67 myself, I'm getting 10L per 100km on U95 longer drives and 11L per 100 round town. My old vt wagon used to chew the fuel compare to this

Actually considering buying a VT calais because 1. I hate all the electronic bits that die: that will be 3k to fix a sensor somewhere and 2. I had a VT plain 6 back in 07-16 and it turns out if you just do the exhaust and a few other basic things (i did end up spending an obscene amount if $,on it because i could. But i found it funny that it had better economy than smaller hybrids 12 years younger than it at the time. Now ive come accross a Calais that somehow has less than 200 on the clock (yes i checked for any messing around) it is in such good condition that it looks 4 years old. Apart from the shocks needing to be replaced it is fine- the important part is that barring some major part failure i can fix the thing on the side of the road if need be with a paperclip and a peice of string XD, and for a 10k total investment, it wont have to last long to be worth it, and beinf retired at 33 is very boring. I could turn it into a project and be happy the whole time because it wont shreak at me for going 3k over the speed limit and actually has a handbreak lol.
