Cam/crankshaft supply voltage

Hi I was wonder what the supply voltage to the cam and crankshaft sensors is 12v or 8v? And where the earth for the dfi module goes to is it just an earth pin on ecu or is it connected to the same earth as the other sensors use?

The sensors use magnets to generate a signal the ECU monitors. I think they are meant to test at 5 volts.

Cam sensor has 3 wires
Sensor power supply
Sensor earth and
Signal

Crank also has power supply and earth for sensor.
According to the wiring diagram and supply is provided for sensors from dfi module.
So I was wondering if the voltage is the same as the 12v supply for dfi module or if the module steps the sensor voltage down to 8v

Looking at the test proceedures for error codes 46, 47 , 48 and 49 (CAS and CAM sensor errors ), and it shows a few different voltages used..
9.5 volts, 5 volts, 2 to 3 volts, 4.7 volts etc etc, just depending on what wire is tested.

Ok I thought the the input supply would be stable voltage and the fluctuating voltage would be signal wires?
