It obliterated me... o_O

I drive a 2009 standard VE SS and I actually thought it was pretty quick, but against this beast I honestly felt like I was driving a Barina the difference was massive. I see my fastest speed to date on the speedo and got it up to 225kph odd but foot to floor behind it and it left me for dust. Caught him thru traffic and we did a rolling 100kph boost and when I floored it in sport mode it looked like I was in neutral...

I'm guessing this thing wasn't standard but if it was I want one, what a weapon!!

Mustn’t have been standard. The stock ones aren’t that quick.

But I know how you feel, I got hammered by a worked STI in my LSA the other day. I was flat to the boards and the bloody thing just sailed past me :/

Yeah they're quite a beast.
One of my neighbours bought a 2020 5.0L GT Fastback

The latest model has selectable drive modes:
  • Normal (chuckle)
  • Sport +
  • Track
  • Drag Strip
  • Snow/Wet
Active Exhaust valve with 4 selectable modes (not sure what this does)

10-speed Auto with optional paddle shifters
Drive ratio 3.55
Max torque @ 4,600 rpm
Max Power Output @ 7,000 rpm - 339kW (98 RON fuel)

If your ss is bog stock I can see how. They’re not very quick. Standard mods such as cam, otr, tune, diff gears and stall will impress you.
