Can a Maloo rear bar go on a SS Ute easily? Anyone got pics of one fitted up?

My SSV ute has a towbar fitted and I am looking to delete the towbar. The only problem is trying to find a bumper bar, without the towbar hole, in good condition. They all seem to have cracks, and I've even seen one with some melting around the exhaust outlets.
My current bumper is in perfect condition but some idiots at Holden cut a bloody hole in it. I don't really want to replace it with a bar that needs plastic welding and heaps of bog, etc. I'm just worried it might end up with slight ripples or not be quite right and it would p**s me off every time I looked at it if that happened.

I'm thinking if I am going to bother replacing the rear bar, maybe I should go the Maloo piece? I can actually get one of them in good nick, just needs to be resprayed in the right colour, and it's only a couple hundred $$ more than an SS item. But I wonder if they come down much lower at the wheel arch? Will my wheel-arch interior plastic pieces fit up properly to the bumper? Will it sit lower than the side skirts, making the lines of the bottom of the ute a bit weird?
I would consider the side skirts if they ever became available at the right price but I'm not looking to build a HSV replica, and I would actually be happy to stick with the SS bar, if I could find one locally in good condition.

Has anyone done this, or does anyone at least have a pic of an SS with a Maloo rear-bar but standard side skirts?
    Thanks in advance.

I've been looking at the lines of my ute, and the line from the side skirts to the rear bar has the usual upwards rake as most (Aussie) cars have. Perhaps the Maloo rear bar would actually level this out a bit, if it doesn't sit too much lower?
No one can offer any advice or pics with this?

I am not sure if it can be done.

    Oooookaaaay......

Anyways, I cancelled on the Maloo bar idea because I finally found a good SS rear bar at All GM Auto Parts in Smithfield. The Maloo idea was only because I am impatient and couldn't find a bar that actually suited my ute without a tow-bar hole cut in it. I should probably start a build log thingie for my ute hey?
