Can a SSV screen display song names from cd's???

Tried a non-burnt CD this morning, still only comes up with random & repeat on the screen? Maybe it has missed an update or something?

Mine has the Display Mode, as per above pic.

Display Mode on mine (2006 model) - as in the above photo. Just keep pressing it to cycle through the options.

I have a tough job getting mine to display the clock, but that's a different issue.

Trying burning as a data disc or mp3 disc. Might be an option to select track names or something.

Pretty sure I use the basic windows media player to burn. But try Nero as well.

Berlina also displays track names but it depends on the type of cd. Even some original cds dont display titles. I remember reading something about it in the owners handbook, theres about 50 pages in there on how to use all the different stereos lol.

Yeah, mine are all MP3 CDs. Normal audio CDs don't usually have text information on them - a few do, but I've no idea if those will display on the car's LCD screen.

mine is the common old six stacker in my 06 ss and it shows song titles and artist and album name when you push display mode but only on newer cds with that info encoded on them and mp3s

Thanks gents that explains it. Will have to start burning MP3 CDs. Hopefully the quality doesn't suffer too much.
