Hi guys i am a sad owner of a 06 ve calais v. I have had my battery disconnected for two months. After a charge and reconnect. Car wont crank. Have checked all fuses and can hear relays clicking in cabin and engine bay when turning key to crank. But no power at starter solinoid trigger wire? Have looked for codes can communicate with ecu but no codes and check engine lite stays on wen red are on. Iv tryed leaving reds on for 1min and of for a few seconds to no avail. Has anyone come acoss this befor and can steer me please..thanks

Sounds a bit weird,
Have you tried a New Battery ?
As the re-charged one may not have enough charge, and being sitting idle for 2 months, the cells may have collapsed,
So it may have what they call a surface charge, its giving the appearance of be charged, but no grunt to fire the starter.
[Has Volts but no Current]
or
But if it wont crank, sounds like the BMC may of lost your Key ID's,
Or
the Auto Inhibitor Switch is not engaging correctly.

That's a couple of things I can think of to look at first if that is any help.

Link fuse on the battery clamp didn't blow did it? If not then I would say needs to be hooked to a scan tool and pair the key again.

Thank you very much for helping...lv load tested the battery and ok....i tried spare key and no difference...i was hoping it was a common problem...iv put a meter on the starter wire and not even a millivolt change..is there schematic wiring diogram available anyware?¿ i couldn't even get one from holden last time i tryed..i think the management systems are overly complex and running 2 CAN's is asking for trouble... but has given me a good reason to stay in man shed longer...thansks again bro i appreciate it...wot sort of Commodore have u got?
