I recently contacted a wrecker about some top shock plates for a VX wagon (Not sure of the specific name, but I explained I wanted to metal plate that the top of the shock absorber bolts to). I ask for a photo to confirm condition but he stated he was too bust but knew exactly what I need.... then proceeded to send me a bearing for the front strut:banstick:. So I wrote to him explaining the mistake, he apologised and said he would send out the right part. Then sent me this.

Can anyone tell me what exactly that is before i write to him again, because it clearly isn't what I want.

    Thanks.

That would be the spring seat.

You need the locating washer. Its the big washer with the rubber around the outside of it.

Exactly, from what you have been saying, I took it as the front as well.

Just took the photo to send him after the second stuff up. I told him it was the plate that bolts to the top of the rear shock absorber, can't get much clearer, and he said he knew exactly what I wanted.
