Yo. quick question. I bought an 03 commodore acclaim and the previous owner had had it lowered. i am just wondering if applying for example, a clubsport body kit, would make it to low to the ground? or does such a kit not have to much an effect on height?
does not have that much affect. How much lower is it than standard. I have maloo kit on the vy, and it's lowered. still heaps of clearance
at the moment the car sits about 240mm from the ground at the front, the same at the back and then around the skirts about 140mm (this with all the standard acclaim bumpers and skirts in place). how many mills lower would a clubsport kit be? wouldn't want it to be illegal or anything. already get enough cop attention being on my p's and all :dance:
I'd go an SS kit. If it's just a six give it some class with the SS look. The HSV design is meant to show power. Not much power in a 6. Height shouldn't be a problem though.
