Hey. I have a hilux project car that has a holden 3800 v6 in it, Wondering if anyone can tell me what model/series
the engine is out of?
the engine number is vh116468

Is it that important?

There are only three real changes in the pre-ecotec engines, VN series 1 that has the thermostat at the rear of the engine, then VN series 2-VP, then VR that had a cam angle sensor. That should be enough to identify it.

Not life or death, but I went to order a new harmonic balancer and there were 3 diferent ones, and withot knowing the model was unsure what to order
