hey guys first post here read alot to the stuff here over the years im chasing some answers on if its possbile to put a vx ecotec v6 (2HFD) gearbox on my engine? i realize some computer changes might be needed and ideas? as my ute is sitting in garage atm with blow trans, if found a check vx box my mate is geting rid of after changing the project he is working on and wondering if its possible as i havnt seen any threads on such conversions
well here's the thing, I've spoken to about 8 different trans specialists along the east coast (from ballina NSW to mackay qld) who all say it can't be done due to wiring and internal differences, but there are a few members on here who say it will work 100%
