Can you fit 15 inch chasers to a VF commodore Evoke Wagon ? ( factory 16 inch )

Just wondering whether you can fit older 15 inch chasers/ stockies / interceptors to a VF evoke wagon? Only wanting to know as I will be using wagon on dirt roads ( need a stronger tyre ) and tyre joint said they cannot fit Light truck tyres on the standard 16 inch alloys. 15 inch rim will give me more options with tyres.

Or are there options for a more robust tyre on the 16 inch alloy ?

Pretty sure Holden moved to 16s because the 15s wouldn't clear the new brake calipers they were using for the VE/VF.

What do you mean by "robust"? What are you using the car for? If you're wanting longer lasting tyres just by ones with a really high tread wear rating.

Thanks RJK. Im using car for a mail run and will be on dirt some times with coarse stones. So need strong side walls so rocks dont puncture and strong tread as the stones knock all the edges off the radial pattern and basically just chew em up.
