Can you help me identify this vl

Hello all,
I have a VL which I am trying to work out what the hell it is.
It has been sitting around for the past Decade or 2, and I have started to look into it to restore it. Now I have thought for years it was a 86 vl Berlina 5speed NA. But having a look at the plates it says its a exec or SL. (Model = VL8VK19-115). It has berlina tail lights and cluster? But it has calais badges and a Le style front lip and grill. With a Rear 3 post spoiler.
Now from what I am gathering is that its a mess of parts from years after it came out of the factory. Does anyone know anymore about this SP style stuff. Was it a dealer kit of some kind?

And one other thing, Are these calais side skirts?
The front lip is missing in this photo.

SP would be Sports Pack. So I'm guessing it's an SL with the sports pack.

Any idea where these "Sports Packs" came from? Where they a dealer fitment?
Did people back in the day just wack calais badges on sl's? Was that a thing?
Sorry about the questions, just not sure weather its worth trying to keep it "factory looking" or just go back to the way the compliance plate says its meant to look.
Or just do a mock up

As for badges, I followed a stock looking Ford Territory today, with a V8 and Cobra snake on the tailgate and a Mustang badge on the front guard.

Wheels are VRSS wheels...They're 15" wheels

Sorry, I should have mentioned I know the wheels weren't stock. I just realized this picture doesn't have the lower lip on the front bar either, That was taken off years ago because of a roo. I'am more trying to find out what this pack is, just like this one at carmate.

I knew commodores were bad for having Chev badges on them. Didn't think it was much of a thing back in the day tho.
Just funny that I found this example of a SP style front lip and wing (only example i have found) and it also had calais badge on it.

One of my first cars was a ford xt sedan 6 cylinder 3 on the tree (column shift) front bench seat . When l bought it, later l realised someone (previous owner?) had put on GT badges.
Never noticed it until my mate pointed it out. Must have been half asleep.

That's a nice looking vl you got there.
The kit looks to be same as the calais and also the calais badges on the side
Maybe a previous owner was halfway through making a mock up or something?
