cant get radio to work

i accidently put the wrong code for radio in 3 times in my vx took the leads to battery off waited 30min put leads back on but still radio wont accept code the radio is all original in the vx can anyone help me

hi lout instead of taking battery leads do i just put the accessories on and how long do you need to wait before you can put the radio code in.thanks

You have to wait around an hour, during which time the radio must remain connected to power ( not necessarily on Acc).
If you disconnect the battery the radio can't count the hour and will start the hour once you reconnect the battery.
