im removing my diff to do an lsd and ratio swap, and im trying to pop the tailshaft from the diff and it wont pop out. ive undone all 6 bolts, and pryed on it with a breaker bar, and i can only move it so far, its so close to coming out but it just wont. i really dont want to have to remove the tailshaft entirely, and if anyone has any ideas that would be great, cheers

Fairly sure you need to drop the drive shaft centre mount so you can slide it far enough forward to get it off the diff coupling.

That is correct !
After you disconnect it at the Trans Donut.
Careful you don't damage the rubber centre bearing carrier/housing.

Yep, using a prybar has probably cracked the centre mount. You will probably need to take it in and have the bearing replaced now as it's not something that can generally be done at home.

Now you just need to consider the following comment before refitting

Yep, using a prybar has probably cracked the centre mount.

else your next post will be about trying to solve a driveline vibration after a diff ratio change
