@Skylarking is the sensor located in the same position on V8 engines?
Ahhh, im gonna assume you have to get under the car?
No, it's located on the upper section of the engine, actually on the passenger side rear of the valve lifter manifold which sits under the intake manifold. It's a bit of a pain to see it but this thread post should provide some pics since since you need to remove the oil sender to get to the DOD oil filter out (should you want to do that)...

I can not find the correct wiring loom behind there. Might need to get me self a mirror or something

V6 is located near oil filter, V8 is passenger side in the back of the head sticking upwards, very tight in that area, you really need to lean over move a couple of things around, also will need a special socket to fit, 27mm deep socket etc, can get the actual tool to suit from repco not expensive either

Ended up getting it replaced. Still the the svs tho. I'm thinking it could be to do with the full exhaust I got installed recently. Gonna take it back to the shop

so you havent actually scanned for codes
sorry i had your post confused with another who had oil pressure sensor faults

I've done a scan with my cheap scanner. No codes thrown. From what I've read on here in multiple threads, svs doesn't throw any codes?

all obd2 cars log codes
maybe worth dropping into your local auto parts store or friendly mechanic and have it scanned
with a better tool
