Can't unlock my car

Hey guys my S2 VT has deadlocked and the battery has gone dead and for some reason my key won't unlock the doors either is there a way I can get into my car? do not want to smash a window.. cheers!

The key should work but it will require a lot of force, it won't turn easily.

As above, high likelihood of cracking key casing though. It is hard and I think it's turn one way to unlock dead lock then turn other way to unlock door.

Other options are climb through boot, is it a wagon? Or climb under car and connect jumper leads to something positive and negative. Or try and open bonnet and then connect jumper leads to battery.

Cheers took some force luckily the key casing didn't break!
