99 vt wagon
i have a vt wagon . it has been playing up abit lately . when i turn it of to fuel up or just run into a shop it starts then dies i have to remove key from ignition lock then unlock car for it to run .now it starts but wont go over 40k an hr before it starts jerking then stals have just changed dfi module under coil packs as was told start there . had it scaned and comes up with no cam angle signal .or is it crank angle sensor . when cold starts & runs but not very far before stalling then starts & stalls .i remeber reading about limp mode but this wont even drive 5klm at 40klm before stalling but when cold has heaps of power

Sounds like crank angle sensor (CAS). Use a genuine one though as the cheapies are not reliable, some have failed straight out of the box.

Whll caprice
id go with the scan and say crank angle sensor and also would agree with not an Abba fan and go genuine on this part
