Hi guys.

Battery died on me as I left the lights on overnight (Woops)
Now my car radio will not turn on. We did jumpstart the car and everything else, works great.
I have checked the fuse box and see no problems. However there may be a fuse behind the radio.

Can anyone think of anything which could help? Held the power button down for a minute with no luck :hmmm:

Any help would be great!

Car is a Holden Commodore VY Acclaim 2003

he can only enter pin code when the radio is ON. read the lot before posting.

op, you've checked all the fuses under the steering column?

if theyre all good, remove the radio(4 solid rods, one in each hole til it clicks, push them away from each other and pull the radio out), theres a 10? amp fuse on the back of the radio you mightve popped.

also, moved thread to the car audio section, will get more replies.

ok then don't no why the fuse would pop while jump starting it , remove the battery for 5 min let it drain the power in the capacitors see if that works , if not get a coat hanger to use to remove the unit .

Take the unit out and inspect it for any damage etc. Maybe the wires need to be reseated.
