Hi guys, havent started a thread in a while, unfort its not on alighter note, My Baby was smashed into tonight, anyone know roughly how much it would cost??

Going to panel beaters tomorrow for some quotes :/ :ranting:

The rear quarter could possibly be fixed and probably a new rear bar. You'd better pray the rails haven't been damaged..

I reckon you could get it done for $1000.. But you might need a new rear quarter..

Offer cash prices. And get at least 5 different quotes if you don't know much about smash repairs...

Ya can get it done dodgy where they just beat it out as straight as possible

THen Bog up the rest. Id not advise that way if you love ya car thou!

about $1350, An they will replace the whole back right beaver panel....

The best solution is to find an old school panel beater who can beat the thing straight and then use a minimal amount of filler to finish the job. I would go for that every time over welding in a new 1/4 as the joints are never as good as factory joins.

I can't tell from those photos if that 1/4 is repairable though.

thanks guys, i got quite a few quotes done, ranging from 1200 to 2500, so not so bad, if i claimed it on insurace it would be no point as my excess is 900 (tell me why we have insurance:????)
sum places wanted to replace the panel and most said it was fixable, i dont really want it replaced as said above joins not as good

but awe well will get her in next week and fix *pout*
