Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
Thanks Trevor I will give that a go today. Thanks.Maybe your injection pulse is dead. Test if 12v is present and that the earth is pulsating, I use a test light while cranking it should flicker.
Portals under the back seat, luckyMIL on the Dash ?
Assuming you took the underneath hardware apart to the get the fuel tank out ?
Does the Fuel Pump work when you turn the ignition on ?
Hey mate, he hasn't logged on for a couple of years. Have a look at similar threads at the bottom of this page.Hey guys, any news about this issue please?
Portals under the back seat, lucky
most haven't got them.
The bloke who used to live next door put his CBR1000RR togetherI did twice, to drop the tank, not an easy job by yourself,
then cut a hole in the floor for the third time around, made a cover plate from galvanized sheet, and used 5mm nutserts to secure the plate with gasket sealant,
there is a thread I have added with photo's of the same.
And I have since opened the port hole again, to re-fitted the original Tanks Sender Unit, as the SO CALLED OEM equivalent failed,
And was dropping to empty at 3/4 and 1/4, and displaying Contact Dealer on the dash,
Contact dealer, that will never happen !!!, not now anyway.
I changed the fuel pump 2 months ago on my vt wagon. Since l had already none it once before (2013), l found it easy. The bloke who used to live next door put his CBR1000RR together
(out of a crate). When his VZ fuel pump packed up, no portals under the seat, he booked it into a shop to get repaired. I probably would as well, but I would make sure that they cutout portals on each side while the tank was out.
